Ando received his Bachelor of Laws in 2015 from Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya, where he graduated Cum Laude. Ando began pursuing his legal career at AFS Partnership the same year. He has been extensively involved in various sectors of corporate M&A transactions and corporate restructuring.

At university, Ando took part in the 2014 National Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and in the 2014 Contract Drafting & Negotiation Competition held by Universitas Indonesia where his team earned the third winner position. He is also one of the founders of Atma Jaya Business Law Society (ABLS).
